Scott was the youngest athlete named to the US Ski Team this year at age 17.  He hails from Sagle, ID where he was a member of the Independence Racing Team at Schweitzer Mountain since age five.  Not an academy kid, his team consisted of local kid coached by parents and was 100% free. 

Although a consistent winner in USSA Mitey Mite competition, Scott exploded onto the scene at the Topolino Shootout in 2007, winning 5 of 6 races.  After that is was all history.  His significant achievements are:

• Five time NASTAR National Champion
• Trofeo Topolino World Championships 2008
• Whistler Cup 2008
• Three J3 Junior Olympic podiums (1 Gold, 2 Silver) 2008
• Most cumulative Junior Championship Podiums of any male (3 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze)
• Youngest invitee to Us National Championships past two years
• Top three world rankings in age group for Downhill and Super G
• Youngest athlete named to 2010-11 US Alpine Ski Team
